The Word of God provides the framework for which everything is taught and done. It serves as the source of absolute guidance and truth. We have faith in the Lord’s command and promise when he says in Proverbs 22:6 (NIV84), “Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it.”
It is our desire that through a Christ-centered education, your child’s life will be enriched in the following areas:
Spiritual
The students will:
- understand that because of their sinful nature they are in need of a Savior.
- be comforted knowing that they have forgiveness through Christ.
- have a desire to share their faith with others.
- live a life of love for God and his Word.
- see the blessings of participating in the mission of their church.
Academics
The students will:
- recognize that God has uniquely blessed them, and they will use their gifts to the best of their ability.
- see the wonder of God not only in religion, but also in all areas of the curriculum.
- be able to differentiate between the absolutes of God’s Word and the uncertain nature of human knowledge.
- obtain the necessary skills to make them valuable members of society.
- have learning experiences that foster good study habits, critical thinking skills, and problem-solving techniques.
Social
The students will:
- have respect for their fellow students, teachers, school staff, and parents in all settings.
- understand their role and responsibility as Christian citizens.
- recognize God as the source of all governments and consider it a joy and privilege to obey the laws of our land and serve in the community.
Physical
The students will:
- have proper respect for their body.
- gain an understanding of physical development, well-being, and safety.
- make every effort to reach their God-given physical potential.
